Lana graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts Honour’s degree from Kwantlen University in May 2007. Her thesis focused on Religious Fundamentalist belief styles across major world religions. She has previously worked as a Lead Therapist for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and more recently as an Intelligence Analyst for Public Safety Canada, where she gained experience in communications analysis and data mining procedures.
Lana joined the eHealth Strategy Office in November of 2010 and is currently working on the CLC Toolkit, which is initiative to share resources from the 2006-2009 Ktunaxa Community Learning Centre (KCLC) project, the interCultural Online health Network (iCON) for Aboriginal Health, and eMentoring. Her research interests include community-based research that explores cultural, political and social influences as they relate to learning, communication, and the use of technology.
